Supervision.
Terrace is a kosher dairy-and-fish restaurant under the supervision of the Haifa Rabbinate. The kashrut certificate is displayed in plain view at the entrance. Presenting the restaurant as kosher rests on a valid certificate, in line with the Kashrut (Prohibition of Deceit) Law, and we'll update this page on any change to the kashrut status.
What we serve.
Dairy and fish only, no meat and no poultry. We don't serve scaleless fish (catfish, eel, and the like). All fish comes from suppliers with valid kashrut certificates, and ingredients are chosen to meet the supervising body's requirements.
The certificate.
Supervising body: the Haifa Rabbinate. Certificate number: kashrut certificate number. Valid until: certificate expiry date. Kashrut level: regular or mehadrin. is there an on-site mashgiach?. We update these details each time the certificate is renewed.
Wine and suppliers.
The wines we serve are kosher. wine kashrut level, for example kosher or mevushal, and the wines' supervising bodies. Other suppliers and ingredients are approved by the supervising body.
Shabbat and holidays.
The restaurant is closed on Shabbat. We don't open on Friday, and on Saturday (motzei Shabbat) we open at 19:00. opening arrangements on Jewish holidays and festival eves, including Passover.
Outside food.
You're welcome to bring an outside cake with prior coordination, dairy only and with a valid kashrut certificate. The full policy is in the events FAQ.
Allergies and special diets.
Gluten-free, vegan, and lactose-free dishes are available with 48 hours' notice. Mention any allergy in the booking form or by phone, and we'll give you up-to-date ingredient information with the team at the restaurant.
