ACCESSIBILITY
Accessibility.
We aim for everyone to be able to read the menu and book a table.
Our commitment.
We treat accessibility as part of the service, and we work so that everyone, including people with disabilities, can read the menu, book a table, and enjoy the visit. This page describes the accessibility of both the website and the restaurant, and how to reach us.
Conformance level.
The site is built to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568 at level AA, based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines. Every public page is checked by an automated accessibility test (axe-core) on every build, in both Hebrew and English, and the latest run found no violations at levels A and AA. Manual passes with the NVDA (Hebrew) and VoiceOver (English) screen readers are planned before launch. The site is tested on current versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
Using the accessibility features.
Every interactive element is reachable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring on all controls. The time scrubber on the reserve page supports the full ARIA slider key set (arrow keys, Home, End, Page Up, Page Down, and Shift with arrows). On every page change the destination is announced in a polite live region and focus returns to the main content. Visitors whose system requests reduced motion get fades in place of motion animations. The site also has its own accessibility menu: a button marked with the accessibility symbol sits in the lower corner of every page and opens a panel to enlarge the text, widen line and letter spacing, switch to a high-contrast theme or a more readable font, highlight links, stop animations, and turn on a reading guide, with a button to reset it all; the choices are saved on your device for next time. Reading the page aloud is handled by your own screen reader, which the site supports.
